To whom can I send messages?

CoopMail allows you send messages to anyone who has a valid email address. You only need the person’s email address to send him a message, regardless where he might be.

The recipient hasn’t received the message…

Very few messages are lost in transit. Make sure that the recipient really hasn’t received the message. It may be that he simply hasn’t yet answered.
If the message has not been received, here are some of the possible reasons :

  • The message was never sent.

The only way to send a message is to click on the Send button. It sometimes happens that a user will finish writing the message and then move on to another task without having clicked the Send button. If you did not get the sent confirmation page, there is a good chance that your message never left.

  • The recipient’s address was incorrect, but does exist (belongs to someone else).

In this case, someone else has received your message. If the email address does not belong to anyone, you normally receive an error message.

  • The message was delayed.

Most messages get to their destination with a delay of only a few minutes. However, it can happen that messages are delayed because of heavy traffic on the Internet, or because of routing problems. (On rare occasions, a delay might last a few hours or more.)

  • Other possibilities.

While rare, it can happen that interruptions to Internet transmissions prevent a message from reaching its destination. It then becomes difficult to know with certainty if the message was delayed or never transmitted. If in doubt, it is best to send the message a second time.

How do I read my messages?

  1. Open a session on CoopMail
  2. If a session is already open, click on the MY MESSAGES tab.
  3. Click on the subject message that you wish to read.

To access a message found in another file, just click on the MY FILES tab, and then on the dossier you wish, then on the subject message you want.
Note. Unread messages are displayed in bold print.

Can I be notified when a new message arrives?

How do I create a signature?
